O&T Farms is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Its location, in the heart of the prairies, ensures access to some of the best crops and agricultural expertise in the world.
In 1967, Ted Wiens saw a need for egg production in Saskatchewan. He and his brother, Oscar, started an egg layer production farm to supply the western Canadian marketplace. By the early 1980s, the company was the 2nd largest egg producer in the country. Throughout its history, the company honed its expertise in agribusiness, including:
- Layer, broiler, pullet production
- Agricultural equipment sales
- Egg grading and marketing
- Animal feed manufacturing
- Animal feed supplement manufacturing
- International agri-value management projects
In the 1990s, O&T began concentrating its research and development on naturally enriching livestock feeds. Today, extensive, independent scientific and nutrition studies have shown that our manufacturing facilities produce animal feed supplements with exceptional benefits to the animal nutrition and human functional foods industries. Our brand has become synonymous with health, nutrition and quality, and it represents our promise to customers.
